The Oaki Lounge chair, designed by Norwegian designer Stine Aas for Northern. The lounge chair is made of oak. Finish: black painted oak and the seat and back is padded with leather.

The Oaki lounge chair combines Nordic know-how and Japanese joinery. It is inspired by the simplicity and art of handmade craftsmanship in Japan. The designer has covered the chair’s joins so it looks light and smooth, without visible transitions. The legs of the Oaki lounge chair are extended up to the height of the backrest. Because they are slightly angled backwards, the lounge chair looks as if it is constantly in motion.
