Plumen are the world's first designer energy saving luminaires. Plumen is a family of several products based on the Plumen 001 and Plumen 002 energy saving bulbs, where designer Samuel Wilkinson took a classic energy saving bulb design and transformed it into an aesthetically valuable object.

The Drop Cap pendant luminaire and the Drop Top glass shade were designed specifically for the Plumen 001 and Plumen 002 bulbs. The Plumen 001 bulb won the 2011 Brit Insurance Design of the Year award. The Plumen brand is manufactured by Hulger in the UK.
