The Danish design stable is known mainly due to the countless icons, which are more and more in demand with the advancing years. These include, in the world of design, very resounding designs by the great Arne Jacobsen, such as the Egg or Swan armchairs, as well as his collection of Ant, Series 7 or Grand Prix chairs.
We should not forget the armchairs from the PK collection, designed by Poul Kjærholm, or the Concert lamps by Jørn Utzon.
In addition to years of proven modernist pieces, the brand also collaborates with contemporary creators. This is, for example, the talented spaniard Jaime Hayon, who designed a collection of seating furniture Fri and Ro or Favn.
That Fritz Hansen's portfolio is really wide-ranging is also proven by acquisitions of other brands. If you have known, for example, Lightyears products, such as Caravaggio or Orient luminaires, since 2015 the brand has been part of Fritz Hansen.
Another popular item is the iconic Kaiser Idell series, designed by German designer Christian Dell. He was inspired by the style typical for the Bauhaus art school, where he led a metal workshop.
