The hanging lamps from the Caravaggio collection were designed for the Fritz Hansen brand by the designer Cecilie Manz. The lamps were launched in 2005 and immediately gained design icon status.
The designer's main idea was to create a simple and refined design for small and large luminaires. From this idea, the Caravaggio series of lamps was born, with its characteristic shade shape, combining traditional Danish design with a modern, dynamic concept. The shade is made of opal glass. The lamp casts a concentrated light downwards and at the same time the light also penetrates through the opening at the top of the lamp.
The collection offers several sizes and colours.
