The main idea of designer Cecilia Manz was to create a simple yet sophisticated design for both small and large lamps. Thanks to these qualities it's no surprise that Caravaggio pendants gained the status of a modern design icon immediately after launch in 2005.
The metal lampshade has an elegant, soft shape with an industrial touch, casting pronounced light downwards and preventing glaring.
The original collection of pendants has gradually expanded to include wall lights as well as table and floor lamps. The Fritz Hansen brand has recently introduced new colours and finishes for the luminaires: in addition to the original glossy ones, matt finishes are now available too.
