George Nelson originally designed the Nelson Bubble Lamp series in 1947. It was first introduced to the market in 1952. Nelson was inspired by Swedish silk hanging lamps. The decorative wall mount of the lamp is made of walnut wood. A shade is suspended from the steel arm, which casts a warm, diffused light.
The lamp arm can be moved in both vertical and horizontal directions.
The wall lamp is available in several shapes and sizes. Each model has a steel wire frame on the inside, which is coated with a translucent plastic polymer.
