The Gatto table lamp is a unique example of design that combines subtlety of form with technical precision. The iconic 1960 model was designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and still has a timeless appeal today thanks to its soft light and unusual material.
The diffuser of the lamp consists of a white powder-coated steel structure with a unique ‘cocoon’ resin. This creates a subtly illuminated surface that looks almost textile and diffuses light beautifully into the space. The result is a luminous object that appears organic, almost as if it were floating.
The Gatto lamp is perfect as a stand-alone solitaire on the floor, but also on a larger table in the living room, next to the sofa or in a spacious hallway as a striking light accent. With the dimmer on the cord, you can easily adjust the light intensity according to your mood and the time of day. Thanks to the 1.8 metre long cord, you can easily place it where it stands out best.
The Gatto table lamp is also available in a smaller version and by combining them together, a harmonious lighting concept can be achieved.
