The driving force behind GamFratesi's work is the fusion of Nordic and Southern, which manifests in combining traditional Scandinavian approaches to design with an Italian temperament. Their work thus balances on the edge of contrasts: between the traditional and the unexpectedly surprising perspectiive on furniture design, minimalism and decoration, the lifestyle in the north and south.
The duo received several design awards for their work, especially for the collection of Masculo chairs and also the new collection of Beetle chairs and armchairs. They belong to a young wave of designers, which some say will easily become the new Arne Jacobsen.
