TheEames DSX (Dining Height Side Chair X-Base)chair comes from designers and husband and wife team Charles and Ray Eames. They designed the chair back in the 1950s with the aim of making a piece of furniture that would adapt perfectly to the human body while being durable and easy to handle. These requirements have materialised in a chair that has become an icon of modern design over the years. The chair is designed to find a perfect application in the office, the home and in public spaces. In addition to the re-edition in fibreglass, Vitra now manufactures the Eames chair in solid polypropylene.
All Eames chairs are characterised by a moulded seat that adapts perfectly. In addition, the DSX variant consists of a standard steel base that combines simple elegance with true structural strength. You can choose from three colour options. Similarly, the seat cushion, which is made from high-quality Hopsak fabric , is available in 35 colour options. As standard, the chairs are supplied with glides for hard floors (if you would like glides for carpet, please specify this in the notes).
