TheEames DSX (Dining Height Side Chair X-Base)chair comes from designers and husband and wife team Charles and Ray Eames. They designed the chair back in the 1950s with the aim of making a piece of furniture that would adapt perfectly to the human body while being durable and easy to handle. These requirements have materialised in the fibreglass chair, which has become an icon of modern design over the years. The chair is designed to find a perfect application in the office, the home and in public spaces. In addition to the re-edition in fibreglass, Vitra today produces the Eames stool in solid polypropylene.
All Eames chairs are characterised by a moulded seat that adapts perfectly. In addition, the DSX variant consists of a standard steel base that combines simple elegance with true structural strength.
