TheEames DSW (Dining Sidechair Wood)chair was designed by designers and husband and wife team Charles and Ray Eames in the 1950s to produce a chair that would adapt perfectly to the human body, while being durable and easy to handle. These requirements have materialized in a chair that has become an icon of modern design over the years. In addition to the re-edition in fibreglass, the Vitra Eames chair is now made of solid polypropylene. The chair is designed to find use in the home, in the office and in public spaces.
All Eames chairs are characterised by a moulded seat that adapts perfectly. This version has a solid wooden base, the colour of which you can choose from 02 golden maple, 95 dark maple, 30 black maple or the optional 65 honey ash base. Default base finish 65 honey ash. Please specify your request for a different type of base in the notes.
As standard, the chairs are supplied with glides for hard flooring (if you would like glides for carpet, please specify this in the notes). If you wish, you can also order the padded seat or the full padded version.
