TheEames DSR (Dining Sidechair Rod) was designed by designers and husband and wife team Charles and Ray Eames in the 1950s to produce a chair that would adapt perfectly to the human body, while being durable and easy to handle. These requirements have materialized in a chair that has become an icon of modern design over the years. The chair is designed to be used at home, in the office and in public spaces.
All Eames chairs are characterised by a contoured seat that adapts perfectly. This variant also impresses with its revolutionary steel base, which is called the "Eiffel Tower". The complex steel wire construction inimitably combines light, elegant shapes with structural strength. Choose from two base variants from the pattern book: 01 chrome or 30 basic dark.
As standard, the chairs are supplied with glides for hard floors (if you would like glides for carpet, please specify this in the notes). If you wish, you can also order the padded seat or the full padded version.
