The two designers were brought together by their joint studies at London's Royal College of Art. Hailing from Mumbai, Nipa Doshi has always admired modernist design and the beauty of mastering a craft. Jonathan hails from Scotland, where he trained as a cabinetmaker and spent many years observing production in the family factory. Both paths thus lend the duo a unique set of qualities that leads to award-winning results.
While Doshi focuses more on aesthetics and visual culture, Jonathan concentrates on the technical side of things. You may recognize Doshi Levien's designs from the Uchiwa chair collection, Quilton sofas and Dapper chairs, to name a few.
