The Uchiwa armchair collection was designed by Doshi Levien for HAY.

Inspired by the traditional Japanese fan, Uchiwa armchairs feature a generously open shape with a high backrest.

The base is made of solid oak wood and the shell is made of hard plastic, which, in combination with the padding, creates a comfortable seat. The design of the armchair can be customised in the wide range of high-quality fabrics.
