In 2012, Danish manufacturer Hay was asked by the University of Copenhagen to design a furniture collection. The result is the CPH Deux range of design pieces, which are successful in terms of functionality and simplicity. Lovers of Scandinavian minimalism will therefore be in for a treat.
The Copenhague Deux Bench 215 embodies all the virtues of classic Danish design. Its straightforward and elegant shape meets high aesthetic standards. Even in terms of functionality and quality, there is absolutely nothing lacking.
It can be used as a dining stool in conjunction with the CPH Deux 210 tables or simply stand alone. The seat top has a laminate finish that makes the surface matt and pleasant to the touch. The narrow, sloping legs are made of oak or beech wood and thus form an attractive contrast to the very innovative seat cushion.
The bench is available in a variety of colours and finishes.
