When designing the Copenhagen pendant lamp, Peter Bundgaard Rützou and Signe Bindslev Henriksen of Space Copenhagen were inspired by old marine gas lamps. The result of Space Copenhagen's modern take is a beautiful industrial lamp, playing with the contrast of the opal white glass shade and the shiny steel fixture. This lamp provides direct light that is casted through a large opening in the base of the shade. The Copenhagen collection includes lamps in three sizes and several frosted shades.
