Designer Luca Nichetto, who also created the window for Hermès, wanted Cloud Sofa to combine the Danish and Italian sofa-making traditions. Thus, for the shape and construction he drew on the Danish design tradition, and for the soft cushions that ensure maximum comfort he drew on Italian design. The structure of the sofa consists of a plywood frame, a solid wood base and legs in painted steel in black, chrome or bronze. The careful workmanship is completed by a cover made of high-quality Kvadrant fabric and cushions filled with a mixture of feathers and HR foam or cold-formed foam.
