The Ball Clock, designed by George Nelson in the 1950s, is now one of the icons of modern interior design. It is unmistakably recognisable thanks to its metal construction, where each place marking the time is marked with a wooden ball. The multicolor version has a white dial with a large black/orange arrow indicating the time. The coloured balls of this variant are in shades of blue and green, with the red/orange balls providing contrast. The distinctive design of the clock ensures that it will become the centre of attention in any room.
Other models of this clock were later developed as variations on this design, which can be seen in the Vitra Wall Clock collection.
