The 64 bar stool was designed by Alvar Aalto for his Artek brand in 1935 and was the first four-legged stool in his portfolio (its predecessor was the three-legged 60). Here Aalto worked with the L-shaped leg that became typical of his work. The chair frame is made of solid birch, the seat of birch plywood. It is the wood finish that makes the chair an icon of modern design, deserving of a place in the home of any lover of Scandinavian design.
The chair is also available in a height of 65 cm and in other colour options. If you are interested in a different variant, please contact us.
