The idea for the Archivo bookcases was born in the mind of Spanish designer Jaime Hayón during his work trips around the world. He liked to bring back souvenirs from his trips that were special to him and he wanted them to be displayed with dignity. He tried to create a playful and stable shelf that would match the design and at the same time make the souvenirs from his travels look good.
The Archivo shelves have a depth of 38 cm, which is perfect for storing vinyl 12" records, which makes all music lovers happy. In living rooms and study rooms it finds a use not only for displaying decorative items, but also for a collection of favourite books or houseplants.
