The Aluminium EA 119 office chair has a medium-high backrest, the seat is made of solid fabric with an aluminium frame in black. The seating mechanism of this office chair allows the backrest to be adjusted to lean backwards or to remain in an upright position. The seat height can be adjusted by a gas strut (lever under the seat).
The Aluminium Chair is one of the best designs of the 20th century. Charles and Ray Eames designed the chair in 1958 for the private residence of an American art collector. Instead of a shell, the couple devised a seat that consists of two aluminum rods with fabric or leather stretched between them. Such a chair adapts to the human body and is therefore very comfortable without complicated upholstery.
The price shown refers to the version with chrome frame, with Leather Premium leather upholstery and hard floor castors. Availability of other variants on request.
