Featuring a welded steel wire seat shell, the compact LKR chair is one of the first designs of the iconic Eames chair collection. Charles and Ray Eames designed it in the 1950s and used it in the furnishing of their own residence, the legendary Eames House in Los Angeles. Over time, these chairs have become icons of modern design. They will find their place in homes, offices and public spaces - both indoor and outdoor.
All Eames chairs are characterised by an organically shaped seat that adapts to the body perfectly. This variant also catches the eye with its revolutionary steel base, the "Eiffel Tower". This intricate and graceful construction made of steel wire combines light, elegant forms with structural strength.
Chairs come with glides for hard floors (if you would like glides for carpet, please specify this in the notes).
