TheEames DKX-5 chair is an all-wire variation on the classic Eames plastic chair, designed by husband and wife designers Charles and Ray Eames. They introduced the chair to the world in the 1950's, with the intention of making a chair that would adapt perfectly to the human figure while being durable and really easy to handle. These requirements have materialized in a chair that has become an icon of modern design over the years. The chair is a unique piece of furniture that is perfectly suited to the home, office or public space.
The Eames DKX-5 chair boasts a standard steel base that combines simple elegance with true structural strength. This option is available in a black lacquered finish. The chair can also be supplied in chrome.
Select the upholstery variant (please specify in the order notes) from the swatches: Fabric F60 (woven Hopsak fabric with a more distinctive pattern), Leather L20 (robust cowhide) and Leather L40 Premium (smooth cowhide with a light sheen). Price is for Fabric F60, other variants on request.
Chairs are supplied with hard floor glides as standard (if you would like carpet glides, please specify this in the notes).
