The construction of the Physix office chair consists of a textile seat stretched between two stable side panels. Designer Alberto Meda combined three parts – a flexible frame construction, an elastic seat, and a stabilising mechanical unit. Together they offer a dynamic seating experience.
Contemporary materials and production technologies have helped to create the perfect ergonomic office chair. The frame and armrests are made of polyamide and are flexible enough to follow the movement of the human body. The seat and backrest made from a single piece of multifilament, highly durable knitted fabric also adapt in the same way – even in all possible directions. Together with the slim frame, the transparent knit contributes to the visual lightness of the chair. The synchronous mechanism of the Physix chair allows controlled movement in any position and under any weight load.
