Maarten Van Severen aimed to create a simple yet distinctive chair with an elegant slim shape. So he followed the motto "less is more" and it paid off. In 1998, a chair was created that is now among the revolutionary chair designs of the last decade of the 20th century.
The design of the .03 chair is simple and clean made with the quality craftmanship typical of the Vitra brand. The back legs are made of steel construction, while the front legs are of aluminium in silver lacquered, black lacquered or chrome finish. The soft seat, which adapts perfectly to the human body, is made of polyurethane foam. The backrest has a spring that ensures comfort and perfect support.
