Danish designer Sofie Refer (born 1974) studied product design at The Danish Design School. Sofie Refer is co-owner and creative director of Refer + Staer Aps, a Danish manufacturer of exclusive designer lighting. Her designs are based on Scandinavian directness combined with extravagant looks. As a designer, her main focus is on luminaire and lighting design.
