The unusual portable Piton lamp from Muuto was designed by industrial designer Tom Chung.

The unconventional portable battery-powered Piton lamp reminds us of a classic flashlight with its playful shape. Its elegant and highly functional design inspired by climbing tools is emphasised by the refined extruded aluminium from which the lamp is made. The lamp also offers brightness control. When set at 100% its battery lasts 6 hours, if you want to extend its life, reduce the brightness to 50 and it will serve you for up to 13 and a half hours. The handy ambient lamp can be used laying, standing, tilted or hanging just depending on the space you want to illuminate. What's more, you can take it outdoors without worry.
