Black hanging lamp from the famous Pedrera collection by the Danish brand Gubi. In 1955, Barba Corsini renovated the attic space in Antonio Gaudí's famous Barcelona house "La Pedrera"; he transformed a simple laundry and storage area into 13 modern duplex apartments.
To support the modernist style of the rooms, Corsini designed his own furniture and lighting for the spaces, including tables and lamps from the Pedrera series. He was particularly inspired by the vaulted ceilings of the house, as well as the typical cylindrical chimneys with perforation motifs. Corsini received great international acclaim for this work. The ANA hanging lamps, which are directly based on Corsini's work, were later designed by his successor Ruiz Millet as a tribute to his teacher.
