The pendant lamp is part of the Pao collection, designed by Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa for HAY. The shape of the shade is inspired by traditional Mongolian tents and is made of high-gloss opal glass that is easy to maintain and clean. The light source is hidden in the ceiling of the shade. Its deliberately simple design makes it suitable for a wide range of spaces.
For the glass design, Fukusawa has developed a customized LED source that emits a warm, soft light.
