Brand: New Works Designer: Anderssen & Voll

The Norwegian design team Anderssen&Voll created the Lantern collection for New Works. The spherical opal shade, which has been incorporated into numerous lamp varieties, served as the designers' starting point for the design.

For the Lantern collection, the design duo was inspired by traditional Asian rice paper lamps. They replaced it with frosted opal glass with a fine texture and complemented it with metal in a contrasting black shade. With its minimalist design and many finishes, Lantern lamps harmonise with any environment, creating a pleasantly soft light.
