The lamp is part of designer George Nelson' s Bubble Lamp series, which he designed in 1947. Its wide profile diffuses soft light into the interior. Its shape not only catches the eye, but also nicely complements the space in which the lamp will be located.
The hanging lamp is available in several shapes and sizes. Each model has a steel wire frame on the inside, which is coated with a translucent plastic polymer.
