The Loft collection of chairs and bar stools was created by designer Thomas Bentzen for Muuto.

Bentzen designed the Loft chair with the intention to create a unique yet very simple and durable piece of furniture. He was inspired by the industrial environment and reflected it in the overall concept of the furniture and the contrast of the selected materials – the powder-coated steel of the frame and subtle wooden plywood used for the seat and backrest.
