The Stacked variable shelving system was designed by architect and designer Julien De Smedt (JDS Architects). It is a sophisticated system of storage boxes that can be stacked in a form that suits you. Pile a low set-up next to the TV or a bookcase up to the ceiling. The individual pieces attach to each other with metal connectors that leave no marks, so you can rearrange the shelves whenever you need to or when you move.
You can start stacking the individual boxes directly from the ground for an informal look, or use a base - the assembly then looks more like a complete furniture piece or chest of drawers. The pieces with backs can also be fixed into the wall.
There are no limits to your creativity. The boxes are available in several sizes and colours - either with backs, with doors or open.
