Louis Weisdorf's motto is "specialising in versatility", which perfectly sums up the career of this well-known designer. Weisdorf graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Arts, after which he worked as one of the architects of the world-famous Tivoli theme park in Copenhagen. When he set up his own studio in the late 1960s, he began working with architect Ole Panton (Verner Panton's younger brother) and also focused on lighting design, most famously with the Konkylie, Turbo and Multi-Lite lamps. Although Weisdorf's work is best known for his lighting fixtures, the designer also designed interiors and is behind several graphic and industrial design projects.
