The internationally renowned Finnish designer and illustrator lives in London, but in his work he draws mainly from the nature and folklore of his homeland – Finland. In the DesignVille assortment, you will find from Haapaniemi's portfolio the Taika porcelain decorated with motifs of an owl and a fox. Or Tanssi porcelain with motifs of the stories of the Cunning Fox.
In addition to home design, Haapaniemi is also known for his theatrical costume designs. He also designed clothing prints for well-known brands such as Diesel, Levis, Dolce & Gabbana or patterns for Marimekko textiles, of course as well as for his own brand and design store in London.
