During his lifetime, he was the only living architect whose building was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In 1947, more than ten years before Jørn Utzon created this masterpiece, he designed the Tivoli pendant lamp, into which he projected inspiration from his childhood. Jørn Utzon's father was a naval engineer and Jørn was fascinated by his ship drawings from childhood.
