Julien De Smedt is the co-founder of the now defunct PLOT architectural studio and became a world-renowned designer and architect under the JDS Architects brand. At the age of twenty-nine, he won the award for the best concert hall in the world at the Venice Biennale for his design of the Stavanger Concert Hall in Norway.
