The studio quickly gained fame thanks to many international exhibitions and awards, such as the Czech Grand Design Awards or the Elle Deco International Design Award.
Jan Plecháč and Henry Wielgus designed the variable shelf system called Stick System for the Danish company Menu. They kept in mind the constant change in lives of young people and the need to easily adapt furniture to various spaces, so the shape and size of the shelf system can be easily modified. At the same time, they put great emphasis on details.
In their portfolio you can also find Lantern luminaires designed for the Bomma brand. The lights from this collection are based on the model of traditional paper lanterns. But Plecháč and Wielgus surprisingly exchanged the paper for glass. Which is available in several variants, such as clear, white or smoked.
The successful cooperation of the Plecháč Wielgus duo lasted until 2019, when they started working independently. In addition to his own work, Jan Plecháč became the art director of the Moser brand.
