The Semi Collection of pendant lamps by Gubi was designed in 1968.

The elegant design from the 1970s is the result of a collaboration between two architects, Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup. Semi lamps became popular especially in the 1980s when they were among the best-selling pieces of Danish design and thus earned the status of a design icon.
