The seat cushion is designed to make sitting on the Fly sofa as comfortable as possible. The cushions are placed loosely so you can arrange them to suit your own needs. The design does not tie in to sitting in predetermined positions, as is the case with many designs from the history of Scandinavian design. Thanks to its size, the Fly sofa can be sat on with the whole family, but it can also be used for lounging. The frame is made of solid oak treated with smoke-pigmented oil. This only makes the material more beautiful over time.
The design is by Space Copenhagen designers Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou, who draw inspiration mainly from their travels abroad. Urban motifs such as the imperfect walls in the streets of New York and other details of everyday life are reflected in the mood of their designs.
The price shown refers to the SC12 model in Smoke Oak and Hot Madison 093. Other upholstery options are available upon request.
The sofa looks best in combination with an armchair and footstool from the same range.
