The Skynest pendant light collection, designed by Marcel Wanders, offers a unique blend of technical innovation and traditional craftsmanship. Each light features 24 LED strips covered in a dual-tone textile sleeve, interlaced with 48 decorative rods. The result is a light, airy form reminiscent of a woven basket – both visually striking and functionally refined.
The Skynest collection continues the decorative approach introduced in Wanders' iconic Skygarden, while shifting toward sustainability and contemporary technology. Light is emitted directionally from the inner side of the structure, while the outer textile surface lends the lamps a warm and tactile presence.
Thanks to a clever, glue-free construction and the use of micro-connectors, each lamp can be easily disassembled, repaired or recycled. The entire structure is made of recycled and fully recyclable plastics.
