Named after ancient epic poems, the Epic collection from Gubi was created by design studio GamFratesi as a series of sculptural furniture pieces inspired by ancient Greek and Roman architecture. The monolithic travertine form, made in Italy, highlights the texture of the stone, the vibrancy of the colours and the natural beauty of the veining. The design of the dining table, like a classical Greek column, combines two simple geometric shapes - a circle and a hexagon.
The collection includes several colour and size versions, allowing the tables to be placed not only individually, but also in groups.
