TheEames DSX (Dining Height Side Chair X-Base)chair comes from designers and husband and wife team Charles and Ray Eames. They designed the chair back in the 1950s with the aim of making a piece of furniture that would adapt perfectly to the human body while being durable and easy to handle. These requirements have materialised in a chair that has become an icon of modern design over the years. The chair is designed to find a perfect application in the office, the home and in public spaces. In addition to the re-edition in fibreglass, the Vitra Eames chair is now manufactured in solid polypropylene.
All Eames chairs are characterised by a moulded seat that adapts perfectly. In addition, the DSX variant consists of a standard steel base that combines simple elegance with true structural strength. The design features a black lacquered base. The chair can also be supplied with a chrome-plated base.
As standard, the chairs are supplied with glides for hard flooring.
