The Eames DSW (Dining Sidechair Wood) chair was designed by designers and husband and wife team Charles and Ray Eames in the 1950s to produce a chair that would adapt perfectly to the human body, while being durable and easy to handle. These requirements have materialized in a chair that has become an icon of modern design over the years. In addition to the re-edition in fibreglass, it is now made of solid polypropylene. The chair is designed to find a place in the home, in the office and in public spaces.
All Eames chairs feature a contoured seat that adapts perfectly. This version has a solid wooden base, the colour of which you can choose from 02 golden maple, 95 dark maple, 30 black maple or the optional 65 honey ash base (price on request). The default base finish is 02 golden maple. Please specify your request for a different type of base in the comments.
As standard, the chairs are supplied with glides for hard flooring (if you would like glides for carpet, please specify this in the notes). If you wish, it is also possible to order the padded seat or the full padded version.
