Daystak furniture is a re-edition of the famous Hillestak collection, created in 1951 by designer Robin Day for the British furniture company Hille. The furniture was created to find budget-friendly, quality pieces for compact spaces. The Daystak collection includes stackable tables and chairs with organic shapes made of wood.
Daystak Side Chair RD1 has a characteristic A-shaped base where the chair legs join in the middle of the seat. A great advantage is the subsequent stackability, where up to 8 chairs can be stacked. The seat and back of the chair are made of bent beech veneer, while the base is made of solid beech.
