The modernist Corbel wall shelf catches the eye with its unconventional appearance and contrasting materials. The versatile Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen's design combines marble, dark-stained oak and plated steel. The shelf, which will serve as well as a bedside table, got its name from the architectural weight-bearing brackets traditionally made from stone or wood, which are known in English-speaking countries as corbels.
