Bodil Kjær has memorized fans of design and architecture primarily with her approach. She was interested in improving the conditions of workers in factories, schools and offices, so she often involved them in the creation process. Her efforts have been reflected in the universities of Oxford and Cambridge, Alfa Romeno and IBM.
Her attention was focused primarily on solving problems of a functional and aesthetic nature in the design of public interiors. She passed on her ideas to architecture students around the world.
A representative of its aesthetics is, for example, the Cross-Plex table lamp by Fritz Hansen. Her clean and straight lines together with the material used are a characteristic feature of the designer's work.
