Back when Markus Johansson was finishing the Cirrata lamp as his graduation project in 2011, he was driven by the desire to create creatively, with courage, and to enrich the design world with luminaires that capture attention. Six years later, his ambition has given birth to a brand that presents this philosophy – even in the name Oblure, which contains the words object and allure.
Often the fascination is at the beginning of the process of creation itself. For example, when designers Johan Lindstén and Markus Johansson were captivated by architecture and its recurring motif of arches. This inspired the Arch collection which interprets the architectural element in a distinctive design of pendant lights in several sizes and colours.
