The Artek K65 bar stool was designed by Alvar Aalto for his Artek brand in 1935. Aalto also worked with the L-shaped leg, which became typical for his work. The chair frame is made of solid birch, the seat of birch plywood. It is the wood finish that makes the chair an icon of modern design that deserves a place in the home of every lover of Scandinavian design.
